Giving Tuesday: Deanna & Taylor

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Friends,

I have written a few newsletters about a dear friend of mine who used to live with us at Harvest House

and has continued to be a part of our lives for many years. Deanna was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2019, while she was pregnant with her beautiful daughter, Eliana. Shortly after Eliana’s birth, Deanna, with the support of her husband Taylor, began a treatment regimen which has been ongoing since then.

I do not claim to have any understanding of the science, but I know this treatment has been extremely rough on her body. She has needed Taylor to be home to care for her and their daughter these last two years, and unfortunately, she is not yet done with treatment. Her last scans still showed cancer cells so she will continue the therapies. Her side effects have been severe including intense migraines, seizures, and more.

As you can imagine, this has taken quite the toll on their finances as well. Instead of trying to raise any funds for any other projects or expenses, we decided this Giving Tuesday to ask you to consider a one-time gift for their family. If you would like to support them during this time, please just write “Giving Tuesday” on your envelope with the amount you would like to go directly to them. You can also use Harvest Christian Fellowship’s Venmo account (@HarvestChristian) and those donations will be forwarded to them as well.

We are grateful. This is a family we love deeply and we know the Lord will provide!
